A video circulating on social media has raised concern after appearing to show a man carrying a machete while travelling on a bus in Belfast.
The footage, which has been widely shared online, reportedly shows the individual — described by some witnesses as heading in the direction of Dundonald and Ballybeen — holding a large blade in full view of other passengers.
At this stage, there have been no official reports of Gardaí or the PSNI intervening, and it remains unclear whether authorities are investigating the incident.
The video has prompted alarm among viewers, with some social media users expressing fear over the apparent ease with which the weapon was carried in public. Others have cautioned that details surrounding the clip have not been verified, and the context in which it was recorded is still unknown.
Authorities have not issued any statements in relation to the footage.
